Question : How to shrink Wss_Content_log.ldf file in wss 3.0??

Hii All Experts,
 I have wss 3.0 and i have embedded sql server. i got problem with size of log file.It showing 240 gb space and mdf is showing 11 gb. How is it possible? What store in log file. i tried t shink by Task menu from enterprise management but it reduced only some space. and then automatically take so i have only 9 mb space in my drive.

So how to shrink file and how to stop to growth and what is the reason to groth??

The log file is a SQL Server file. It is created when a database is created, and in your case, it would have been created with you installed SharePoint. The log file will grow when your SharePoint list is updated, when you add a new site/sub-site, or even when you just modify security. If you are performing any type of backup on your database, you should be able to set options on the backup process to shrink the log file. If this is not possible, you can create a maintenance plan to perform a transaction log backup and shrink the log file.
