Question : windows 7 remote desktop
I want to allow remote desktop to my windows 7 computer. I went to Remote Settings, clicked on the Remote tab, then checked "Allow Remote Assistance connections to this computer. I also have the Allow connections from computers ...." the second radio button for less secure.
I can get to this computer using \\192.168.1.101\c$ in windows explorer, and after logging in, I can see the files. This makes me think that I can successfully see the computer and it is a remote desktop issue. Everything has a static ip.
I can also rdp to and from every other computer on my network. I can rdp from that compter to others too.
When I try to rdp into it, I get the standard error message:

Remote Desktop cant connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons:
1) Remote access to the server is not enabled
2) The remote computer is turned off
3) The remote computer is not available on the network
Make sure the remote computer is turned on and connected to the network, and that remote access is enabled.
