The consensus here is...
You can but all of the user access permissions will be wiped. Terminal services will have to be reset and reconnected to the citrix licensing service. SQL permissions and access will have to be redone. It can be done but is not recommended and the amount of work to get it working again will be more than setting it up new in the domain.
