Got you. My humble opinion is that the best way to do what you need would be through an Excel spreadsheet with a little bit of VBA code to retreive prices from the internet. If you stick with equity and listed mutual fund there aren't many issue, if you also need bonds and OTC derivatives then the problems arise. I've asked you what your specific need are because there isn't a simple system, to the best of my knowledge, which does what you're asking for. I'm using a very complex workbook accepting any instrument which has a price but it is fed through Bloomberg. Manage invest looks a bit like Quicken for financial assets. I haven't tried it but it seems that the cost is reasonable (AU$ 400), on the other hand ypur needs are quite basic. I would give ot a try with Excel and VBA.
