How to overline in Word2003?

I just wana know how to overline a text in word

So its a wierd one this you have to:

1. Place your cursor where you want to insert the underlined text.
2. Press CTRL+F9
3. Type   EQ \x\to(YOUR TEXT HERE)  (Note; there is a space between EQ and \ but no other spaces except in your text)
4. Delete the spaces between the first bracket and the EQ and betweem the last bracket and the ) that you typed then press SHIFT + F9

This should do your overline.  Why is there no overline command??? Who knows!!
