We are currently using Exchange 2007 one 64-bit Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise. We are trying to figure out the new "builtin" password change feature in Exchange 2007. The password change itself works just fine, however as described in this article (http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Server_Software/Email_Servers/Exchange/Q_21501439.html?sfQueryTermInfo=1+expir+expiri+oversea+owa+pop3+remind, Which relates to Exchange 2003, not 2007), users are not able to change their password if a) it is already expired, or b) if we set the option to change it at next logon. From everything I am reading, OWA 2007 is supposed to handle this correctly, but in our situation it is not. It is also not warning the users at the top of OWA as Dave_Dietz describes in his solution to the referenced question.
Can anyone help with this? I am sure we are doing something wrong.
Thanks.
