Question : Error updating public folder with free-busy information on virtual machine exchange 2003

I am using exchange 2003 server with Outlook 2007
I have been getting the error message in event viewer which states " Error updating public folder with free-busy information on virtual machine . The error number is 0x80004005" I have looked through all of the microsoft kb articles i could find however i am still confused. Here is why:
i was under the understanding that free busy controlled access to calendars and sending appointments and things of that nature, however, my users are having no problems using their calendars in outlook 2007. however when i do go to the ESM i find that i cannot find a freebusy folder under /first storage grou/public folders. Am i looking in the wrong place. what do i need to do to get rid of this error?
