Question : MS Word 2007 :: Tables :: Prevent Page Break

I've placed several simple tables (2 columns, 2 rows in 1st column, 1 row in 2nd column) one after the other into an uncomplicated Word document.  I want each table to stay together as a fixed block on any page, ie, I don't want the tables to break at the end of a page.  To accomplish this, I selected each table (clicking on box at upper left corner of each table), clicked on table, properties, row, and unchecked the "Allow row to break across pages" box.  But still the tables break (between the 1st and 2nd rows).  I checked MS Help (see "Insert Page Break" page) and it said to do exactly what I did as described above.  Suggestions?

I think the instructions above apply only to a table's "row", not the whole table.
