Question : customizing access 2003 menus

Hi,
I recently saw a db where an individual customized the standards menu (file, Edit, View, etc) of the access 2003 to be used with his program.  Changed the name, added his own drop down options etc.  Now i have tried this and it works great, however, once i tried it on one db, every access db that i open keeps the same menu its rather than having the default. is there anyway to contain such a change to the db that it is intended for or is this not a good idea?  thanks.

Answer : customizing access 2003 menus

That's because you apparently modified the Default menus?

You can reset them back to the original ... then, easily build your own custom menus (no code reqd) following the approach here: (I've built 100's of such menus, toolbars and right click menus)

Everything you need is here ... see this link:

Not sure it that article mentions it, but ... when you are in the Customize mode (dialog) ... if you hold down the Control key, you can drop and drag (ie, copy) menu items from one place to another ... handy for making a new menu that is similar another one.
