Question : How do I get Visual Studio 2008 Templates to appear in the window?

I have installed Visual Studio 2008 Express on my machine.  However, the templates do not appear.  I found them, unzipped them and put them in what I thought was the correct directory, but they simply refuse to appear in the window.  I ran devenv.exe /installvstemplates  from the RUN command line, but nothing.  This is getting frustrating, so how do I get the darn things to appear?
