Question : Installing Access 2003 using Access 2007 key

We need to install Microsoft Access 2003 on a couple of workstations.  Access 2003 is no longer sold as of June 30, so we purchased Access 2007.  The software that needs Microsoft Access 2003 to run will not work with Access 2007.  I was told by CDW that I can install Microsoft Access 2003 using an Access 2007 product key.  The Access 2007 media is a retail copy, so I think downgrades are allowed.  I'm using a retail version of the Access 2003 media for the install.  Is there any way I can install Access 2003 using either the Access 2007 media or product Key.
