Question : MS Access 20077 How to pass text field data from form to table

I have a text field on a form that totals several values on the form.  The control source is field1 + field2 etc.  The calculation is working well, but I need to pass the value to text field in a table.  How can I do this?

Well, that should not be an issue.  The idea is ... values change ... your calculated text *should* change (automatically recalculate ??) ... and then ... when you Save the record, the BU event triggers and that calculated value is saved to the table.

So ... relative to this, what is happening ?
