Question : Grouping and SubTotal in Excel 2003

How can I write a macro so that it could summarized the summarized the subtotal of Debit, Credit and Net  by CCOA, Month ? Can I make use of grouping and subtotal in Excel so that I users could see the summary first and they could drill down the details transaction further ?

I would actually do this with conditional formatting.  A Macro is also possible but really not needed.
