Question : Unable to join a Win2008 server to a Windows 2008 Domain

Hi, I've just setup a new Windows Server 2008 and ran dcpromo to promote it to a Domain controller in a new Win2008 forest. The problem I'm having is that I cannot join any other Win2008 servers to this new domain.
What I try and take them out of a workgroup and join the domain, i just get the hourglass.
I've tried several different installs and cannot join any to the win2008 domain.

I am able to join any win2003 servers to the domain no problem.
