Question : video card driver

How can I find what type a video card is? One of my friends reinstalled win98 on an older PC and now he cannot switch the resolution to a value higher than 640x480 and to 256 colors. I know he must install a driver for his video card but where to find it?
I have the following information from DXDiag:

Name: Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA)
Manufacurer: (Standard Display Types)
Monitor: A1554NEL
Main driver: vga.drv

Where can I find a driver for this video card or how can I find what type it is?

Download this utility and install it,
EVEREST Home Edition >> http://www.snapfiles.com/get/everest.html

it will give you a list of all the hardware attached to your system, note down the correct version and make of your required device, and then search for the appropiate drivers either on the manufacturere site, or you can also find them on www.driverguide.com
