Question : Mail merge between Outlook 2007 and Word 2007 hangs during processing

When I merge Outlook 2007 to Word 2007 to create HTML email the process hangs after it starts. The list of contacts being merged is no more than 200 at a time (we cut the list into separate smaller folders as a troubleshooting measure). Our mail is hosted on a Microsoft Exchange 2003 server.

I've had similar problems working with contact lists that are located in Public folders.  I would copy the contacts you need into a folder under your contacts and then try running the merge.  Try to keep the number of contacts under 200( if possible) definitely keep it under 255 or else Outlook has a tendency to freeze up.
