Question : Windows Home Server Activation
I installed the evaluation copy of Windows Home Server 5.2.3790. I purchased the OEM media that includes power pack 1. I cannot activate the evaluation install using the product key that came with OEM media. Is my only option to reinstall from the OEM media? If so is there a way to do a non-distructive install? If not is there a method of saving existing data to be reinstalled?
Answer : Windows Home Server Activation
Just do repair of your existing Windows with the provided OEM media and when asked for key while repair you may need to provide the product key. Repair will not remove your personal data.
