Question : Mixed 2003/2008 Environment Needs A Domain Rename

Ok. So my environment needs a domain rename.  In order to facilitate a company rename, and making internal/external DNS match, I'd like to do a domain rename.  I have a rather confusing, and mixed environment.  Please tell me how to do this rename properly, as we have a lot of stuff that can go wrong.  The layout is in the code below. This environment has Server 2003 forest, and domain with server 2003 domain controllers, and server 2008 member servers for exchange 2007.  Thanks
