Question : SBS 2008 - Connect Wizard Won't Migrate Profile

I recently setup SBS 2008, and am in the process of joining the computers to the new domain.

I was able to run the Small Business Server setup wizard via http://Connect

On one particular Vista machine, I am not able to preserve the user's profile/settings.  At the "Move existing user data and settings" screen of the Wizard, I can usually select the current user's profile.  However, on this machine (and one other in the office) there are no users listed in the drop-down box.  The drop-down list only shows "" - the current user profile is not listed.

I'd love to preserve the profile - it'll save me a good chunk of time, but how do I get the profile to show up in the list?

Thanks!

Answer : SBS 2008 - Connect Wizard Won't Migrate Profile

I had a similar problem, and I used the files and settings wizard to first join the machine to the domain, then logged on as the sbs user for that pc and restore the files and settings back to it via the wizard ;
