Question : RPC in Outlook 2010 Beta with Exchange 2007 not working

We have an Exchange 2007 server running in an EBS 2008 enviroment. RPC have worked great for all our user with Outlook 2007 but now when some of our users is trying out Outlook 2010 Beta they get problem with working of site. Works perfect on site in the lan but when they try to connect outside it just get stuck in Trying to connect.

I have run:
https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/
The "Outlook Anywhere (RPC over HTTP)" test and get no errors.

Dose anybody know what might have changed in the Outlook 2010 Beta client that could create this problem and then of course. Can I fix it for them so it works?

Answer : RPC in Outlook 2010 Beta with Exchange 2007 not working

If you are using an external connection, then TCP/IP will fail, because that is what you use in your LAN with all the ports open. It is just taking longer to time out.
Now that could also be down to name resolution somewhere, which also has to time out.

Simon.
