Question : Scroll on touchpad gone after Windows 7 installation
OK, so I just downloaded and installed Windows 7 onto my HP Pavilion dv2945se Laptop PC. The problem is with my touch pad. It will move the mouse and click just fine,but the scroll function on the right side of the pad has stopped working. I've grown very accustom to using this function on Vista and would like to get i back if possible. I follow the advice of a few forums and tried downloading new driver but to no new results. When I look at the device properties it recognizes my touchpad as a "Standard pointing device" instead of a touch pad, which I think is the source of the problem. The driver installed is Synaptics pointing device v 14.0.3. Any ideas on how to get windows 7 to recognize my touchpad correctly?
