Question : windows vista gadgets have disappeared

I had a number of gadgets installed on my desktop.
Now when I reboot no gadgets are shown at all.
How can I get them back?

From Control Panel. Click on Appearance an Personalization link.

Click on Windows Sidebar Properties.

Select the check box of Start Sidebar when Windows starts.
