Question : Vista: can I run a program from a mapped network drive in compatibility mode?
I have an old program on a mapped network drive that won't install on Vista - double-clicking the setup.exe file does nothing, no errors, nada. I know that I can't officially run a program from a network drive in compatibility mode, but is there a way to circumvent this?
FYI, if I copy the program locally and run it in WinXP SP2 compatibility mode it works fine, but I need to install it from the network path as all the connectors are run from the installation location.
Thanks in advance.

Have a look at the screenshot - it seems to work. You need to install ACT5 from Microsoft.
