Question : Event ID 1001 BSOD System Reboot After BugCheck Windows XP
|
|
Hello, My computer keeps crashing and rebooting after a bugcheck is performed.
Below is link to my minidump files and I'm hoping someone can read them and tell me what device might be to blame. I tried using Dumpchk.exe but it's a bit over my head.

This is what I've tried so far: - Checked all device drivers and all show to be working fine. - Used the Microsoft untility (can't remember what it's called) to create an iso file to boot from. It checked all my hardware and said there were no errors. - Removed my ram sticks
The following Buugchecks and parameters are listed in my event viewer: Event Id: 1001 0x1000007f (0x00000008, 0x80042000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) 0x1000008e (0xc0000005, 0x804e8dd3, 0xeba995e4, 0x00000000) 0x40000080 (0x865ba410, 0x85ce11e8, 0x805562a0, 0x00000001) 0x10000050 (0xfffffff0, 0x00000000, 0x80593cd6, 0x00000000) 0x1000000a (0x00000003, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x806ffae5) 0x100000d1 (0x00000005, 0x0000001c, 0x00000001, 0x8a30e609) 0x0000004e (0x0000008f, 0x00040d10, 0x00072a70, 0x00000000)
Any info will help!!! Thanks

Answer : Event ID 1001 BSOD System Reboot After BugCheck Windows XP

According to the minidumps, 3 system crashes with bugcheck 7F and they are not related to stack overflow and this is the symptom of hardware error. 1 system crash with bugcheck 1A with IRQL x'1c' which is clock level IRQL and this is also the symptom of hardware error.

Conclusion Your windows is crashed by hardware problem. Probably the culprit is faulty ram. Reseat the memory to another memory slot. If you overclock the CPU or RAM, change it back to original setting. If it still crashes, replace the ram.
