Question : Using TSADMIN.msc is there a way to tell which user is at a desktop, which is using remote app?
On a Windows 2008 terminal server, I have users which could be connected to a desktop or just using a remote app. Is there a way to tell how the user is connected? I have looked in the tsadmin.msc application, but could not tell the difference between the remote app users or the desktop users. Looking at the remote app executable in tsadmin does not work, because the remote app executable can be run from either the desktop or remote app.
Answer : Using TSADMIN.msc is there a way to tell which user is at a desktop, which is using remote app?
Look at their processes. Running explorer.exe means remote desktop.
