Question : Mapping drive to Win 7 machine

Having a terrible time trying to map a dirve on a win7 machine.  Frorm winxp machine.  I have no trouble seeing the the win7 machine but when I go to access the shared folder it denies me access to the computer.  The win7 machine is acting as a server for Quickbooks

The xp is service pack 3
any Ideas would be great as this has been going on for a week

Try this workaround

Find a shared folder W7 can see on an XP computer (that can already see the shared drive) and on the XP machine put a shortcut to the shared drive in there

Then browse to the same folder from your W7 machine find the shortcut and open it.
