Question : Report Details Height

I am using Access 2007 and I am making a lengthy report. However when I reached at 22" the report won't let me go any longer than that. So in design view, I tried to change the Details Height to 100" and it says that it is too long. Then I tried to change it to 50" and it said the same thing again. the Details section is right above the footer. What can I do? Thanks

Answer : Report Details Height

<>

No.  The detail section gets printed once for each for each record, not once for the entire report.  The detail section will be repeated once for each record in your record source automatially by Access.

So what's in the section needs to represent what you need to print one record.  for example.

 xxxxxxxxx  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

For an id and description.  You don't need two hundred lines in the detail section to print two hundred products.  Just one line, which Access will repeat automatically 200 times; once for each record.
