Question : Formatted Crystal Report

Hi all,

I am looking to recreate the attached report in Crystal reports. The data shown is all stored in SQL Server 2000.

My main interest is how do I get the table list down the left hand side (always having 25 spaces even if there are only 5 records returned, and then how do I get the large single detail to sit next to the table (Each record in the left hand table has the same large detail but I only want it shown once)?

If anybody needs more info then please just ask. I am using Crystal Reports 9.

I think you are going to need to use subreports for each of the sections.

What happens if there are more than 25?

What if the right section is too long for 1 page?

Will other section (reply) be filled in?

What is the database structure?
Is all data in 1 table or do you have multiple tables with links?
