Question : Windows 2008 Server Distributed DCOM Error

Hi all,

I have an error in a windows 2008 installation;
"The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{61738644-F196-11D0-9953-00C04FD919C1}
 to the user NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE SID (S-1-5-20) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool."

I already try to fix the issue granting permissions for allow local an remote access but with no success. Anyone knows an workaround for this ?

hi

set the com service to run with a windows user account, also ensure that user is added to the users in the com services.
