Question : How to reverse engineer access adp sql server combination

I have inherited a set of Access ADP's with SQL Server back ends.  There are numerous stored procedures in the back ends.

How can I best go about figuring out program flow in these databases?  Are there automated tools that can be of assistance?

There are several that can do this, but I'm not sure about ADPs. You might look into Total Access Analyzer from www.fmsinc.com.

Redgate has some very nice tools, if you're willing to pay the price. These would handle the data side of things only: www.redgate.com
Also Apex Software has a nice compilation: http://www.apexsql.com/default.asp

Rick Fisher has a tool named Find & Replace that can be somewhat helpful in this regard, but it's really more useful as a F&R tool: www.rickworld.com
