Question : How do I manually code a Generic Pull Down Menu in VB Express 2008

I can create a menu using the MenuStrip control in VB Express. I want to tailor the menu based on the user name that logs on. I have a standard log on screen. Once the credentials have been validated I want the next form to generate a menu based on those credentials. Can the menu be manually coded?
