Question : Sharepoint Content Database Schema

Iam using Sharepoint Services 3.0 and have the content database in SQL Server 2005.
Iam able to view the content schema.
Can I add my own schema like employee table, department table  to the content database?
Can I show the data in my employee table, department table in the sharepoint datasheet view?
Can I link the two tables and produce a consolidated datasheet view?

Answer : Sharepoint Content Database Schema

If you modify content database, you lose support from Microsoft. You can use Business Data Catalog to read data from other database/server and display on your site.
