Question : Allow Standard User Admin Rights To Certain Programs

I have a Windows 2008 software with some software called PowerManager II installed which loads on log in. It is also being used as a terminal server but when standard users log in it asks for admin rights.

Is there any way I can get this program to run as the standard users but without them having to log in or having the administrator password.

Many Thanks

Answer : Allow Standard User Admin Rights To Certain Programs

The only solution that comes into my mind is for you to put a shortcut on the desktop for all the non-admin users ( and that shortcut to be set from: run as , to run with the admin account ).

However , the program does not appear in the startup folder ? Then you might have to disable it from msconfig so that users will not be prompted to enter admin credentials when logging in.
