Question : Really Uninstall previous versions of Microsoft Office if I like to try Office 2010?

I'd very much like to try Access 2010 with sharepoint 2010. Now the beta is here and I'm seeing http://www.microsoft.com/office/2010/en/download-office-professional-plus/default.aspx.
But it is said there that: "Uninstall any previous versions of Microsoft Office. We highly recommend that previous versions of Microsoft Office be removed from your test machine before installing Office Professional Plus 2010 Beta."
I run in the same machine Ofiice 2000+2003+2007 for my work as an Access Developer. I have NO problems with that.  Is it really necessary to remove them before installing 2010? Do I have to? What could happen if I didn't?

you need to install operating systems (as if on an empty pc) - no shortcuts there.

as far as i know, windows license is limited by the pc itself, and therefore you can install the same one over again (still same user AND same pc, isnt it?)

once you DO have a virtual pc configured, you can make copies of it (still-to be used on the same pc!) one with office2000 one with officeXP, one with only access runtime...

it's all legal thus far.
