Question : Command Line for Microsoft Software Inventory Analyzer

I would like to use MSIA to perform an inventory of our Microsoft Real Estate, on a particular OU within our domain. MSIA is limited in that it does not allow you to drill down to an OU when choosing the location of where you would like to scan PC's from. The simplest solution is to setup a logon script to run on all the machines in the OU that run MSIA at logon.

Does anyone know the command line syntax for MSIA that will allow me to do this?

You can create a custom file to be passed at command prompt to the msia. If your OU's are based on sites/IP addresses, you can always specify the same in the custom file.
However doing it on an OU is not possible. The alternative way is already known to you.
