Question : Memo Fields start getting truncated
I am describing this from what a colleague has passed on.
Microsoft Access 2007/Vista
Office SP2
A table is created wth a memo field. After undetermined number of successful entries, field will not allow entries longer than 255 characters.
Copying previous record with CRTL-apostrophe may or may not work. Cutting and pasting may or may not work.
No formatting. No grouping or aggregation.
UJNICODE off or on appears to make no difference.
C/R appears to make no difference.
Appears to be limited to a set of computers which must remain off-line, all of which should have been created from the same disk image.
Anybody know of any fixes which might have been missed? Any suggestions?
TIA
Answer : Memo Fields start getting truncated
Guess I (or you) would have to be there. Very weird happening directly at the table level!
