Question : what replaced sql.request in Excel 2007?

I need a replacement function for SQL.REQUEST for Excel 2007.
I need to pull info from an SQL db based on the value in one of my Excel columns.  I was using SQL.REQUEST but that is not available for 2007.
I'm giving lots of points because i need an answer ASAP.

Sql Request is not supported beyond excel 2002.
