Question : Text box controls moving in SQL reports 2008
Hi
I have a report with a series of text boxes above a matrix control.
The text boxes show sales targets and total current sales achieved per salesman.
The matrix allows the salesman to see his year on year sales by customer.
I've set it so each page is a new salesman.
Both the text boxes and the matrix sit in the same rectangle.
I've set some of the detail in the matrix to be toggle between hidden and shown. When I show everything in the matrix those text boxes above and to the right of the matrix move to maintain their position above and to the right of the now expanded matrix.
How do I fix the location of the text boxes so they stay where they're put without putting the matrix on a new page?

PS - is it just me that finds SQL reporting amazingly frustrating?

Move the textboxes into their own rectangle container. It shouldn't cause the matrix to go onto a new page and it should make them stay put.
I had exactly the same problem and that solved mine.
