Question : Pb in sharepoint MOSS 2007 with explorer view - webdav

Hi,

we have a WSS server  (2003 Server Std  R2 SP2 French ) and a Moss 2007 server  (2003 64bits Std R2 SP2 French),

on the WSS, no problems , user can access explorer mode for documents using Webdav,

on our MOSS, users can still acess to explorer mode but not with Webdav, they are switch to  Frontpage extension Mode (Web client) which is too light for our use (you can't create a new word document, ...)

It seems that Webdav failed for a problem of authentication ? (for external users, it ask for user password...but nothing works, if you click on 'ESC', it display the explorer mode in Webclient mode, not webdav)


MOSS Server use only NTLM authentication on IIS configuration for website, and in Sharepoint configuration,
try with basic but not help..

Any idea ???

solution Found :

webdav don't work if you haven't  a site collection '/'    (i had only /sites/xxx before)
