Question : Windows 7 Remote Desktop Connection Error
Are there any known issues with using Windows 7 Remote Desktop to connect to a Windows Server 2008 Terminal Server? I keep getting the error below:
"The connection cannot be completed because the remote computer that was reached is not the one you specified. This could be caused by an outdated entry in the DNS cache. Try using the IP address of the computer instead of the name."
I can connect using the IP but not by hostname. The hostname resolves when performing an "nslookup" (forward and reverse). Also, I only have this problem from one Windows 7 computer. Other Windows 7 computer work so It probably isn't an OS related issue.

Make sure you are only pointing to internal DNS servers. Disable IPv6 as well.
