Question : Exchange 2010: Cannot send

hello

I am very new to Exchange and also Server. I have installed Exchange 2010 on a Windows Server 2008 with dynamic IP (at home, for testing).
I have set the MX-Records and I can receive Emails, OWA is working too. But I cannot send Emails out of OWA.
I dont get an error message or something, the emails just dont go to (an external) email box...

What do I have to setup? I am very new to it.

Thanks

Answer : Exchange 2010: Cannot send

Have you checked to make sure that there is a send connector in place? If not, then you will have to create a send connector. Send connectors create a logical connection to remote e-mail systems. In EMS, go to Org. Config -> Hub Transport -> Send Connectors, and see if you have at least one (Should say Global Internet Connector for Exchange 2010).

If nothing is there, create one: http://www.petri.co.il/configuring-exchange-2007-send-external-email.htm

If you already have one, then check the Toolbox -> Mail Flow Troubleshooter for more clues about what's going on.
