Question : POP3 and IMAP4 will not start automatically when I restart the Exchnage server
Ive configured a box with Windows 2003 Server with SP2 with Exchange 2003 SP2. The box is fully configured with all necessary software and final configurations. When I restart the server, POP3 and IMAP4 does not start, these services are disabled by default at installation and Ive set to automatic. I can start the services manually once the server reboots; however, these services will not start automatically. The errors are as follows:
An error occurred while starting the Microsoft Exchange IMAP4 Service: the call to IIS_SERVICE::StartServiceO
peration()
failed with error 0x8007077f.
An error occurred while starting the Microsoft Exchange POP3 Service: the call to IIS_SERVICE::StartServiceO
peration()
failed with error 0x8007077f.
The Microsoft Exchange IMAP4 service terminated with the following error:
No site name is available for this machine.
The Microsoft Exchange POP3 service terminated with the following error:
No site name is available for this machine.
Thank you in advance!!!
