Question : SQL query question

Hello experts! I have a question regarding the optimization of a query.

I have a query "w", which returns some rows. Now I want to add additional rows, which are missing in "w". Until now I am doing this with a union and "select where not in w". Whereas I usually have to repeat the upper query in that query type I'd like to know if I could reference "w" directly?

I hope you understand my question? I will post the original code first! It's long though!

To see what I am refferring to please have a look at the second code as well. Thus, things might become a little clearer.
