Whenever we try to run update KB967723 using Windows update on our Windows Server x64 2008 Standard Sp2 installed on Dell poweredge 2970 we get an error Code 80070490. This server is part of a domain and is used for terminal services logins mainly . This has been going on for months on I feel ( and so does my boss) this critical update needs to be installed. The error is also happening on our domain controller with sp1 2008 standard. Itried googling the error and came up with a registry edit that seems to be for Vista.
As an aside, KB976098 (Daylight savings time update ) is also failing to install, and has been on the update list for months as well.
How do I get this critical update and the DST update to install?
Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.
