Question : SharePoint 2010 and the URL Length Error

Does anyone know if the URL length error is resolved in SharePoint 2010?

But to answer your question, SharePoint 2010 still uses pretty much the same structure when creating sites, etc. Long URLS, etc.

They do have a Document ID shortcut feature now that can be turned on that provides each document a unique ID that can be used to shortcut to it no matter where it lives in SharePoint. Even if the document moves the shortcut will continue to function.
