Question : GPO Server 2003 XP Pro Clients Wallpaper
I am using 2003 server with XP Pro clients. I have enabled Active Directory in GPO - Users Config - Admin Templates - Active Desktop - Active Desktop Wallpaper. I now want to disables it - and have done this in the GPo - but the client computers still have the wallpaper I origionally set and do not have the Desktop TAb in display properties. How can I force Windows to revert back to the origional state?
Answer : GPO Server 2003 XP Pro Clients Wallpaper
Change the settings in active directory/group policy, ensure that any replication between servers / sites completes.
Next run gpupdate/force on the machines to force the policy update and finally log off/back on
