Question : I need to increase the size of an SBS 2003 system partition

Hello, I need to extend an sbs 2003 system partition:
Equipment: HP ML350 G2
Disk 1 is 3 disks in a Raid 5 array
Disk 2 is 2 disks in a Raid 1 array

Disk 1 has an 8mb EISA Configuration partition at the start of the disk
a 6gb System Partition, then a 61gb data partition as the last partition on the disk
I read this article about how to increase a system volume which seems ok http://searchwincomputing.techtarget.com/originalContent/0,289142,sid68_gci1126671,00.html

but there is also this article which says that extend may not work on system partitions.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/325590/en-us

I really need to extend the current system partition, so I'm planning on moving the data partition over to the 2nd disk, then extending the system partition according to the 'searchwincomputing' article and I need to know if this will work?? Thanks for your help in advance.
