Question : How do I make a button to copy the contents of an access text box

Hi I could do with a button that can copy the text and number content from an Access text box and then i would like to paste it into another application (say Word or Acrobat) .

Is there a way to do this? The number will be something like WAS-10-1236-ID-346.
Thisnis quite a long number to replicate manually and there is a risk of getting it wrong slightly.

You can use standard Windows keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V to copy/paste). If you're looking for some way to automate this - that can be tough to do, since it's difficult for Access to get a "handle" on the external application, and (at least in the case of Acrobat) it would be difficult to determine exactly what to do with it, or how to interact with the external application.
