Question : How to make a regular AD user an admin on a single server

I'd like to know how to make a regular AD user an administrator on a single  windows 2003 R2 standard server, but not the entire domain or any other servers.  They should be able to use windows remote desktop to administer the windows 2003 R2 standard server too...

Answer : How to make a regular AD user an admin on a single server

Log onto the server in question as an administrator:
Right click my computer
Click Manager
Expand Local users and Groups
Expand Groups
Double click the group named administrators
Add the domain account of the user.

This will ensure the user is only an administrator of this server. It will also allow them to remote desktop as admins are added by default.
