Question : Renewing ssl cert on Windows Small Business Server 2003
Greetings,
I have a windows 2003 small business server with a ssl cert from godaddy.com. I need to renew it however I guess my current cert is 1024 bits and the new one from godaddy.com is going to be 2048.
When I go through the wizard in iis it generates a csr but that csr is rejected by go daddy because it is not 2048.
So my options are to remove or replace the cert.
Can anyone tell me the best way to proceed in generating the csr for this renewal? Was hoping I could generate a new one separately but the only option I think is to replace it.
I want to make sure I am doing it correctly before I proceed.
Thanks for your help.

I removed the existing cert and started with a new one at 2048. Then I generated a csr for it and processed it through godaddy.
So you can't upgrade an existing cert i guess. You just delete the existing one and start with a new one.
